Adamthwaites in Uniform - Adamthwaites who served in WWII                

There must be many more Adamthwaites who served in WWII, but except for the details of those that were killed that appear on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission site, there is not much information available online about British and Commonwealth servicemen/women.  Some of those detailed below only appear because I have photos of them in uniform!  If you can add to this list  and especially if you can provide photos, I would be most grateful.

Charles Frederick Adamthwaite

YELLOW line

Charles joined the army during the general strike of 1926 and served as a Corporal in the East Surrey Regiment.

When he was stationed at Fort Regent, St Helier, Jersey, he met Alice Maria Brown and they were married there in 1926.

Alice was nanny to the children of the Captain of Charles's regiment. During WW2 Charles served in the Home Guard in Southall.
