IMPORTANT: No guarantee can be given as to the accuracy of the Birth, Marriage or Death information contained on the attached pages, except where there is an indication that the details have been sourced from a copy of the original certificate (a note showing this appears in the final column of each spreadsheet), or from the Parish Records for events pre 1837 ... in fact, I need YOU to let me know if you can confirm any of the details shown.
If you are thinking of ordering a copy of any certificates, you are strongly advised to check the reference details yourself first. We would be most grateful to receive details of any certificates you hold, for inclusion on these spreadsheets.
The GRO now has a service where you can locate additional information from the Indexes to Births and Deaths: Mother's maiden name has been added to all birth entries from 1837 onwards and age at death is added to all records from 1837. It is also possible to order pdf copies of records which will be delivered by email at a cheaper price than ordering a copy certificate.
To use this new service, you first need to register at https://www.gro.gov.uk/
then click on the link to 'Search GRO indexes' NB you can only search a few years at a time.

Births, Marriages, Deaths and Census in England and Wales
The BIRTH sheets are the most informative and should be used as the starting point for discovering what we know about any Adamthwaite individual. For each individual listed on these sheets, as well as identifying their parents, we have also shown the following information (if known):
year of death and age at death,
year of marriage and surname of spouse,
which years they have been located in UK census
plus a note showing if we have any further information about individual (e.g. a photograph or will, or whether the individual appears in any of the articles in the Miscellany section)
