This is the first place to try to discover where YOUR Adamthwaite Ancestors fit into the various Adamthwaite lines that we have reconstructed.  The Name Index is based on known births/baptisms of Adamthwaite individuals during the period 1572 to 1925 and covers individuals born in the British Isles, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA.  

 

If known, the maiden name of their mother is shown, along with the person's dates of death and marriage (with names of spouses).  If there is any further information, such as a photo or the individual appears in one of the stories in our Miscellany section, this too is noted.

 

HINT: If you know the name of the spouse of your most distant known Adamthwaite ancestor, this would be the easiest name to search for - as you will find loads of William, John and Thomas Adamthwaites amongst the thousand names on this list! (you can use the 'Find' tool on your Adobe reader to look for specific names or places to help your search).
